Ordering from Anko: Made-to-Order Timings, Delivery, Sizing and Returns
Every Anko piece is made for you after you order. Here are straight answers to the questions we hear most, so you know what to expect from checkout to your door.
Is every Anko piece made to order?
Yes. Each piece is made to order with care and precision once you place your order. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to be produced and processed before it ships.
How long does delivery take?
Once your order has shipped, please allow 5 to 7 working days for it to arrive. Tracking information is emailed to you when your order is dispatched, and a signature is required on delivery. From order to doorstep, plan for around 3 weeks in total.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, Anko ships internationally. Customs fees and import duties on international orders are the responsibility of the recipient and are paid on delivery, so it is worth checking your local customs rules before you order. If a parcel is refused and returned to us, any customs or return fees are deducted from your store credit, and if a parcel is not returned to us for any reason, it is not eligible for a refund.
What sizes do you offer?
Our dresses come in UK sizes 6 to 16 (US 2 to 12, EU 34 to 44). Each product page has a size chart. As a guide, in inches:
UK 6 / US 2 / EU 34: bust 31 to 32, waist 24 to 25, hips 34 to 35
UK 8 / US 4 / EU 36: bust 33 to 34, waist 26 to 27, hips 36 to 37
UK 10 / US 6 / EU 38: bust 35 to 36, waist 28 to 29, hips 38 to 39
UK 12 / US 8 / EU 40: bust 37 to 38, waist 30 to 31, hips 40 to 41
UK 14 / US 10 / EU 42: bust 39 to 40, waist 32 to 33, hips 42 to 43
UK 16 / US 12 / EU 44: bust 41 to 42, waist 34 to 35, hips 44 to 45
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. On a product page, use the box "What size would you like this in?" to tell us the size you need for a custom order. Please note that custom pieces tailored to your measurements cannot be returned or refunded.
What is your returns policy?
You can request a return within 14 days of delivery, and the item must be dispatched and received by us within that 14-day window. Items must be unworn, unwashed and unaltered, in their original Anko packaging, and sent via DHL with a valid tracking number. Once your return is on its way, please share the tracking number with our team. You arrange and pay for the return. Returns sent through other couriers or without tracking cannot be accepted. We do not currently offer free returns, and shipping fees are non-refundable.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 days of us receiving your returned item. Your bank may take a little longer to show it on your account.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us at contact@theankoshop.com within 7 days of delivery with clear photos or a video of the issue, and our team will review it and help you promptly.
